Chimmini
Chimmini Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Mukundapuram Taluk in Thrissur district. It is a western slope of the Nelliyampathy Hill Range. A part of the Peechi-Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary and part of Parambikkulam Wildlife Sanctuary lie close to Chimmini. The dense swamp and rivers of the dense forest add to the beauty of the trekking trails. Evergreen. There are many birds and butterflies here that offer opportunities for trekking and camping. The lucky one can see the "southern bird wing"(Troides minos), the second largest scene in the Western Ghats. The Lioness monkey is another attraction
Trekking is organised here by the Forest Department. If one day trekking, go to the inner chimney. Even if it's half a day, you can walk around for about three hours
Bamboo trips are another joke. There is a facility for two cargo handling on a day. The river is the most flowing land in the entire moon. There is an Eco-camping living inside the forest. There are two types of camping.
